Our Philosophy
Sage & Light is an intentionally selective special education staffing partner that helps school districts build stronger special education programs by attracting, supporting, and retaining exceptional professionals.
Built on Experience
Sage & Light was founded on nearly two decades of experience across general and special education. Beginning in 2007, our founder has served students in diverse classrooms, led instructional teams, earned advanced degrees in curriculum and instruction and educational leadership, and ultimately chose to focus on making the greatest impact in Exceptional Student Services.
Working within school systems as well as with traditional staffing models revealed a simple truth: Exceptional professionals deserve to be respected, supported, and appropriately valued. When they are, school districts become stronger, students receive more consistent services, and communities benefit. That belief became the foundation of Sage & Light.
